The Devil May Cry series is a great franchise of action games, built with magnificent game mechanism, allowing players to creatively manipulate complex combos with a variety of cool moves and awesome weapons.They were praise-worthy games, thanks to the geniuses at work at Capcom.The last of the Playstation 2 franchise ended with the hit <Devil May Cry 3: Special Edition>, before moving on to the PS3 with <Devil May Cry 4>.

What most players love most about <Special Edition > is the ability to play as main character Dante’s twin brother Virgil ( picture above). Many gamers prefer Vergil to Dante in terms of gameplay. Lots of spectacular videos of Vergil’s battles has been uploaded on Youtube. And it would be obvious Vergil is at least equally bad-ass as Dante. As seen in the first cutscenes, Vergil slices and dices devils with his trusty sword Yamato. It takes practice to trap the enemy  and slice it through the air  with Yamato, but the satisfaction of pulling off that move is great!

As I, and other passionate gamers and sword-lovers, look at the sword Yamato, we search for information regarding the incredible sword. It does exist, but it is not called Yamato; Yamato is actually a Tsunami Katana, as seen below (that is the most widely agreed consensus).

The Tsunami Katana commonly cost more than 600 USD. The sword is practical and can be used for cutting practices on wood or bamboo. It bears the Tomoe motif, that looks like some sort of spiral.It is a very beautiful sword. The Tsunami Katana can be found on most big distributors, so it will not be difficult to get your hands on one. Though <Devil May Cry 4> is already out, lets relive the Vergil experience and show some support for the PS2! Die, devils!
